Hope Summer Repertory Theatre is one of the top professional acting companies in west Michigan, for 36 years it has performed seven shows every summer, including two children's plays. Most of the troupe's performances take place on the Hope College Campus, either at the DeWitt Theatre or Knickerbocker Theatre. The cabaret show is performed at the Till Midnight restaurant, 12 blocks south. Previous plays have included Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream," the musical "Godspell" and the children's play "Miss Nelson is Missing."
